Brandon Quinlan: Subject matter expert on the prime contractor procurement and bidding process
Brandon Quinlan, P.E., Procurement Manager, Skanska USA Civil
Brandon has over 10 years of experience in the heavy-civil construction industry and is currently working on the $1.6 billion Metro Westside Subway Extension Section 1 and the $1 billion Metro Regional Connector Transit Corridor projects in Los Angeles. In his current role as procurement manager Brandon is responsible for overseeing and leading the effective and timely procurement of goods and services to meet the needs of the projects. This includes preparing solicitation packages on these design build projects by defining scopes of work, and evaluating subcontractor bids received for selection of best value award for all new subcontractors and major material suppliers. In his role Brandon works closely with various stakeholders, and is passionate about outreaching to the local, small and disadvantaged contractor community as evidenced by his many speaking engagements as a subject matter expert on the prime contractor procurement and bidding process.
Brandon graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a BS in Civil Engineering and is a registered professional engineer in the state of Colorado.
