Our Women's Tea is an empowering and inspiring event, bringing together women from various sectors of the AEC industry to share experiences, insights, and stories of success. It is an excellent opportunity to network with like-minded professionals, build meaningful connections, and foster a supportive community that encourages the growth and advancement of women in AEC.

Our Guest Speakers, Charlene Reynolds, Director, John Wayne Airport; Cynthia Guidry, Director, Long Beach Airport; Isela Toledo, Director, Business Operations, Ontario Int’l. Airport will share inspiring stories of female trailblazers in the fields of Architecture, Engineering and Construction, moderated by Robin Billups, the Billups Group.

We will be awarding our Women in AEC Scholarship:  This scholarship was established to support minority, female students who are pursuing study in the field of construction engineering and architecture related careers and demonstrate academic achievement. Four female, minority high school students will be awarded $1,250 in scholarship funds which can only be applied to verifiable costs associated with average tuition and usual fees.

WOMEN IN ARCHITECTURE, ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION
ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship was established to support minority, female students who are pursuing studies in the field of architecture, engineering and construction related careers and demonstrate academic achievement. 

 

Successful applicants not only showcase academic excellence but also demonstrate active involvement in their communities and schools. The aim is to empower young women who embrace entrepreneurial aspirations and are dedicated to pursuing studies in construction-related careers.

 

NAMCSC desires to recognize, encourage and provide financial support to the next generation of minority and women-owned construction businesses and prepare our future industry leaders. 

Scholarship Eligibility Information

High School Senior, College or Trade School Student

Minimum GPA: 2.5

Major/Career:

Ideal areas of study include architecture, engineering, mathematics, science, technology, and trades, with a particular emphasis on prioritizing building trades, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and civil engineering.

Extracurricular:

Demonstrate active participation and engagement in both community and school activities.

School Enrollment:

Enrolled full-time as an incoming freshman, sophomore or junior at a College or Trade School during the 2025-2026 academic school year.

Eligibility requirement:

Applicants must be female or identify as a woman to be eligible to apply for the scholarship.
